Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe System Engineer to manage and support telecommunications and file transfer processes within a mainframe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mainframe telecommunications systems and processes
• Utilize various file transfer protocols, including FTP and SFTP
• Monitor and manage job outputs using CA-View (SAR)

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of TSO/ISPF for mainframe environments
• Ability to write and debug JCL scripts for batch jobs
• Experience with IBM Sort Utility for data handling
• Proficiency in REXX programming for task automation
• Understanding of file transfer security protocols within a mainframe setting
