Job Summary
A company is looking for a Managing Editorial Assistant to support the Managing Editorial team in the bookmaking process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the Managing Editorial department, including scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars
- Set up and maintain title metadata and schedules in SAP and FileMaker Pro
- Review eBooks for formatting and content accuracy, and attend weekly production meetings with various departments
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months prior publishing experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Outstanding ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Superb organizational and time management skills
