Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managing Editorial Assistant to support the Managing Editorial team in the bookmaking process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support to the Managing Editorial department, including scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars
  • Set up and maintain title metadata and schedules in SAP and FileMaker Pro
  • Review eBooks for formatting and content accuracy, and attend weekly production meetings with various departments
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 months prior publishing experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Outstanding ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Superb organizational and time management skills
