Maryland Licensed Systems Security Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Security Specialist to manage and enhance security policies and systems for health benefit exchanges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage deployment of applications in production and non-production environments
• Troubleshoot application issues and enhance security as needed
• Create and maintain project documentation while participating in technical reviews

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience in security requirements and controls for IT systems
• Minimum of two years performing security operations functions, including troubleshooting and resolution
• Hands-on experience with cloud security functions, particularly in AWS
• Experience administering security for Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with Security Incident Response and Forensics evaluation using SIEM tools
