Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via various communication channels and provide timely resolutions
- Document all interactions accurately within the patient accounting system and escalate issues as necessary
- Communicate with various healthcare staff to clarify inquiries and assist customers in navigating the billing process
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or business administration preferred
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare environment with customer service or financial counseling
- Knowledge of insurance programs, regulations, and billing processes
- Data entry skills with a typing speed of 50-60 keystrokes per minute
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic computer skills are desirable
