Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers' Compensation Litigation Attorney (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in workers' compensation litigation, focusing on settlement and assisting with discovery, trial, and appeals
• Provide legal advice and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and motions, while negotiating settlements as needed
• Attend legal proceedings and facilitate the effective disposition of assigned cases, maintaining communication with various stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree, licensed in Kansas and/or Missouri
• Minimum of one year of experience in trial, administrative hearings, appellate, or workers' compensation preferred
• A valid driver's license is required
• Commitment to continuing legal education for professional expertise
