Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Assistant to manage administrative tasks in a litigation environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files, monitor litigation calendars, and assist with closing out resolved cases
  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, prepare exhibits, and coordinate e-filing in court systems
  • Schedule depositions and hearings, serve as a point of contact for external parties, and conduct basic legal research as needed


Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or certificate in Paralegal Studies preferred; Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a litigation setting, preferably in insurance defense or personal injury
  • Proficiency in e-filing procedures for state and federal courts
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal document formatting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software
