Job Summary
A company is looking for an Accounting Associate responsible for managing, reconciling, and reporting financial transactions and accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliations on general ledger and bank accounts, and code and post cash receipts and payables
- Initiate transfers between bank accounts, validate draw/check requests, and release wires and ACHs for Corporate and Servicing departments
- Complete month-end tasks, including posting and validating accruals and reconciling billing, while forwarding final reports to appropriate parties
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
- Experience in mortgage accounting is required
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Versatility and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Good computer handling skills
