Mortgage Customer Outreach Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Customer Outreach Specialist I to collect on delinquent mortgage loans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate contact with consumers in early stages of mortgage loan default to collect past due payments
• Assess consumer's financial situation and arrange repayment plans as necessary
• Handle inbound calls regarding mortgage loan products and maintain compliance with call regulations

Required Qualifications:

• A combined 2 years' higher education and/or relevant work experience
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
• Excellent customer service skills
• Collections experience preferred
