Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mortgage Customer Outreach Specialist I to collect on delinquent mortgage loans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate contact with consumers in early stages of mortgage loan default to collect past due payments
- Assess consumer's financial situation and arrange repayment plans as necessary
- Handle inbound calls regarding mortgage loan products and maintain compliance with call regulations
Required Qualifications:
- A combined 2 years' higher education and/or relevant work experience
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
- Excellent customer service skills
- Collections experience preferred
