Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations and ensure compliance with tax regulations and labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and audit bi-weekly payrolls for employees across two separate FEINs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Investigate and resolve inquiries related to payroll taxes from various stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of payroll experience with knowledge of multi-state tax compliance
- Experience processing payroll for multiple FEINs
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and reporting requirements
- Experience with payroll system transitions or harmonizations is a plus
- Proficiency in payroll software systems and Excel
