Job Summary

A company is looking for a part-time contract Accountant to support financial operations and improve financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Process accounts payable and reconcile bank, credit card, and investment accounts monthly
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and manage payroll processing, including onboarding new employees
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of nonprofit accounting experience
  • Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Google Workspace
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and nonprofit financial management
  • Familiarity with federal/state compliance and payroll systems
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
