Job Summary
A company is looking for a part-time contract Accountant to support financial operations and improve financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and reconcile bank, credit card, and investment accounts monthly
- Prepare monthly financial reports and manage payroll processing, including onboarding new employees
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of nonprofit accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Google Workspace
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and nonprofit financial management
- Familiarity with federal/state compliance and payroll systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
