Ohio RN/LPN Payor Relations Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payor Relations Specialist / Prior Authorization Specialist (RN, LPN).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage pre-certification and prior authorization of patient referrals for admission
• Communicate with payors to initiate and complete patient authorizations, ensuring compliance with policies
• Collaborate with Business Development and Case Management to maintain continuity in patient care and manage financial risk

Required Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• At least two (2) years of direct experience in third-party reimbursement
• Preferred experience working with Excel and databases
