Job Summary
A company is looking for an Oncology and Infusion Stewardship Pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities
- Support financial, prior authorization, and denial appeals processes for outpatient drug infusions
- Ensure timely patient access to medication while maintaining cost effectiveness and revenue integrity
- Administer and lead oncology and infusion services across the health system
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college and completion of a post-graduate residency or fellowship training
- Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days of hire
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and completion of a Board of Pharmacy approved course in immunizations within 90 days of hire
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year of hire
- Completion of a post-graduate year 2 residency (PGY2) or equivalent experience in a clinical specialist role
