OR Resource Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an OR Resource Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage clinical assets and resources for anesthetizing locations, ensuring surgical interventions are accurate
• Plan and assess needs for surgical procedures, coordinating with outside departments as necessary
• Manage and coordinate surgeon block time to ensure efficient utilization of operating rooms

Required Qualifications

• 2 years' experience as a Health Unit Coordinator or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Medical Terminology or completion of an approved program required
• EPIC Optime experience preferred
• Ability to lift or move up to 20 lbs and maintain standing/sitting positions
• Competent to meet age-specific needs of the unit assigned
