Job Summary
A company is looking for a Part-Time Access Center Navigator - Gastroenterology.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for referring physicians, patients, and caregivers to assist with assessing services and converting inquiries into appointments
- Navigate patients through the continuum of care, coordinating appointments, referrals, and addressing barriers to care
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow up with patients while collaborating with providers and care teams
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of customer service or call center experience
- High school degree or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Healthcare experience including knowledge of medical terminology and managed care is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in using general office equipment, including multi-line telephone systems
- Ability to work quickly and make accurate decisions in a fast-paced environment
