A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist to provide advanced services to patients, providers, and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced services including billing support, claims assistance, and prior authorization tracking
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer requests in a timely manner
- Establish expertise in payer trends and maintain confidentiality regarding patient information
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of four years of related experience in customer service, medical billing, or healthcare
- Prior experience in oncology, pharmacy, or medical coding is highly preferred
- Certified Pharmacy Technician licensure/experience preferred but not required
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
