A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the SmartAccess Program, including prior-authorizations and appeals
- Develop relationships with healthcare professionals to provide reimbursement support and relay relevant information
- Conduct internal training for new hires and troubleshoot complex cases with stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5+ years of experience with prior-authorizations and appeals
- Knowledge of patient access programs and experience with Spinal Cord Stimulation is preferred
- Experience working with Salesforce HealthCloud
- Strong understanding of billing, coding, and medical insurance terminology
