Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the SmartAccess Program, including prior-authorizations and appeals
  • Develop relationships with healthcare professionals to provide reimbursement support and relay relevant information
  • Conduct internal training for new hires and troubleshoot complex cases with stakeholders
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5+ years of experience with prior-authorizations and appeals
  • Knowledge of patient access programs and experience with Spinal Cord Stimulation is preferred
  • Experience working with Salesforce HealthCloud
  • Strong understanding of billing, coding, and medical insurance terminology
