A company is looking for a Patient Access & Support Specialist - Professional Relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Front patient calls for nurse triage and identify urgent conditions
- Research and recommend providers to patients based on their needs
- Register new patients and manage appointment scheduling and confirmations
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High School degree or GED required
- One year of customer service experience with a Bachelor's degree; three years with an Associate's degree; or five years with a High School degree, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong personal computer and technology skills
- Ability to gain knowledge of the healthcare system and medical terminology during training
