Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative- Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with payers to ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims
• Review and update patient and financial information accurately
• Monitor billings for accuracy and follow up with insurance companies on assigned accounts

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2-3 years' experience in insurance collections and hospital/facility billing
• Basic knowledge of healthcare claims processing, including ICD-9/10, CPT, and HCPC codes
• Experience with various workflow systems and client host systems
• Understanding of government, Medicare, and Medicaid claims
