A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Customer Services Representative I to assist with customer service and collections in a call center environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer calls and assist callers with inquiries related to patient accounts and billing
- Process payments, establish payment plans, and maintain patient account information
- Resolve billing issues and coordinate with departments for necessary preauthorizations and referrals
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Less than 1 year of work experience, specifically 3 - 6 months required
- Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy standards
- Ability to work in a call center environment
