Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Customer Services Representative I to assist with customer service and collections in a call center environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer calls and assist callers with inquiries related to patient accounts and billing
  • Process payments, establish payment plans, and maintain patient account information
  • Resolve billing issues and coordinate with departments for necessary preauthorizations and referrals
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Less than 1 year of work experience, specifically 3 - 6 months required
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy standards
  • Ability to work in a call center environment
  • Familiarity with billing processes and managed care requirements
