Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join their Specialty Pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer new referral intake and refill calls professionally and in a timely manner
- Update patient information in the computer system and maintain accurate patient records
- Assist in co-pay collections and schedule deliveries for patient refills
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Active Pharmacy Tech certification preferred, but not required
- Previous pharmacy experience and patient-based service experience
- Strong customer service background
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software systems
