Patient Financial Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Recovery Specialist to assist hospital patients with their account inquiries and payment arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound and place outbound calls to assist patients with their accounts
• Process credit card payments and set up payment arrangements for unpaid balances
• Research insurance information and maintain accurate account notes in the system

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous experience in customer service and call center environments is preferred
• Experience with the medical billing process is preferred
• Proficient PC knowledge and typing speed of 30-40 wpm
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
