Payments Risk Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payments Risk & Underwriting Analyst II to manage payment processing risks and customer disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assist with chargebacks/disputes, ensuring effective communication with merchants
• Monitor merchant accounts for fraudulent activity and conduct credit analysis on users
• Prepare reports for senior management, highlighting risk indicators and trends

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in payments risk management and merchant underwriting
• Experience with know-your-customer (KYC) requirements and best practices
• Knowledge of consumer (B2C) and commercial (B2B) payment methods
• Familiarity with various online payment methods, including credit and debit cards
• Experience with Stripe's Connect platform is a plus
