Principal Cybersecurity Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Cybersecurity Architect to lead the strategic design and implementation of secure architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overarching cybersecurity architecture strategy across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle
• Evaluate and implement security technologies and frameworks while guiding compliance with industry standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or relevant discipline with 6-10 years of experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• 8+ years of progressive experience in information security and architecture, particularly in cloud-native security and secure application design
• Extensive experience designing security architecture for SaaS platforms and enterprise-scale cloud environments
• Deep knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and OWASP
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GDSA, ISSAP, or SABSA preferred
