Principal Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain advanced cybersecurity defenses across IT and operational technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of secure architectures for IT and OT systems, including network segmentation and data protection
• Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and support regulatory audits and inspections

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, particularly in enterprise and operational technology security
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the nuclear energy industry or another highly regulated sector
• Deep expertise in cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and firewalls
