Project Monitor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Monitor to support the Grid Deployment Office within the Department of Energy.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, draft, and route Export Authorization decisions
• Review Export Authorization applications and assist the Federal Permitting Team to ensure adequate generating resources
• Draft internal memorandums, FRNs, and other relevant documents at the request of GDO

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience are required
• Experience drafting energy-related proposed decisions or orders at FERC, a State Public Utility Commission, or related entity
• Knowledge of electricity markets and power marketing companies
• Experience coordinating internal routing and approvals on tight deadlines
• U.S. Citizenship is required
