Job Summary
A company is looking for a Reinsurance Senior Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations for reinsurance-related areas
- Manage reinsurance billings, payments, and related journal entries on a weekly basis
- Assist in the design and maintenance of accounting policies, implement process automation, and support audit requests
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA preferred
- Experience in Property and Casualty insurance required
- Reinsurance experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with NetSuite General Ledger preferred
