Remote Academic Librarian

Job Summary

A company is looking for a part-time Librarian, Reference Associate.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide reference and research services to learners, faculty, and staff
• Assist users in utilizing library resources and troubleshoot technical issues
• Update and maintain library instruction resources and participate in team training

Required Qualifications

• Master of Librarian & Information Science (MLIS) or Master of Library Science (MLS) from an ALA accredited institution
• One to three years of relevant reference librarian experience in an academic library preferred
• Experience working with adult learners and diverse populations
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Broadband or high-speed internet connection required
