Key Responsibilities
  • Verify insurance benefits, eligibility, and pre-determination requirements for patients
  • Coordinate with physician offices and internal departments to secure necessary authorizations and referrals
  • Notify patients of their estimated financial responsibilities prior to procedures
Required Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma or GED required
  • Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in insurance verification, patient access, or medical billing required
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and patient scheduling systems preferred
