Job Summary
A company is looking for a Part Time Remote Customer Service Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigates electronic health records to validate and document patient information while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Manages a high volume of incoming calls for appointment scheduling, medication refills, insurance inquiries, and other patient needs
- Schedules patient visits, verifies insurance eligibility, and communicates clinical information to providers as necessary
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in healthcare or customer service
- No supervisory experience required
- Must live within 1 hour of St. Louis, Missouri
- Typing test required with a minimum speed of 35 wpm and 90% accuracy
