About the position

IntellaTriage invites you to join our growing team of Hospice Triage Nurses, where you can enjoy the benefits of working from home while providing essential care without the stress and expense of daily commuting. This position requires candidates to have or be willing to obtain a Compact LPN license and to reside in a Compact US state. Experience with end-of-life care is a must, as is a high-speed internet connection. We are looking for tech-savvy individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong keyboard skills. The role involves working one weekday shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM CST, along with rotating shifts on Saturdays and Sundays during the same hours. At IntellaTriage, we are dedicated to improving the lives of both nurses and patients. Since 2008, we have been providing after-hours nurse triage for hospice and home health providers, utilizing best-in-class technology to ensure that licensed nurses are available around the clock. Our triage nurses become an integral part of our clients’ care teams, providing patient-centered and compassionate care during non-core hours. We are excited to support our clients’ nursing staff in the field by leveraging our outsourced team of nurses to manage after-hours care delivery. Our Hospice Triage Nurses have experience in hospice, palliative, and end-of-life care, as well as in fast-paced environments such as emergency departments, critical care, and surgical services. New hires will receive three weeks of remote paid training, with the schedule varying based on availability. We provide our nurses with a laptop and headset, but they are required to use their own high-speed internet and maintain a quiet, HIPAA-compliant workspace. Nurses will access electronic medical records (EMRs) for charting and utilize our internal applications to perform their job functions. A minimum of 30 minutes of paid shift preparation is required before taking calls, and nurses should expect to spend an additional 30 minutes to 2 hours at the end of their shift completing charting before clocking out. This role offers the opportunity to work from home, eliminating the need for scrubs, expensive takeout, and commuting costs, allowing for more time with loved ones.
