Remote Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Patient Account Representative to manage patient accounts and insurance collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on claim submissions and review remittances for insurance collections
• Utilize knowledge of various insurance types, including Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid
• Research accounts using patient accounting applications and available internet resources

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in medical claims and/or hospital collections
• Ability to quickly learn hospital systems such as ACE, VI Web, IMaCS, and OnDemand
