Resident Licensed Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Client Services Commercial Lines Underwriter I (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Quote, accept, decline, and modify lower complexity risks within territorial assignments in accordance with underwriting guidelines
• Respond to inquiries from policyholders and agents, providing insurance counseling and making adjustments to policy information
• Generate premium growth through direct marketing, upselling, and managing new business production for lower complexity small businesses

Required Qualifications

• Obtain and maintain Resident Producer License and Nonresident Licenses as required
• 2+ years of insurance-related experience preferred
• 2+ years of automation experience preferred
• College degree preferred
• Knowledge of insurance-related coursework is a plus
