Job Summary
A company is looking for a Scheduling Optimization Consultant to support strategic improvements in healthcare scheduling workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current scheduling practices and identify opportunities for optimization within Epic
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to streamline appointment workflows and templates
- Analyze data to assess scheduling gaps, access delays, and resource utilization
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in scheduling operations within a healthcare setting
- Proficient in Epic scheduling tools (Cadence, templates, provider build, etc.)
- Strong analytical and workflow redesign skills
- Bachelor's degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field)
- Experience working in a hospital, inpatient, or multi-specialty ambulatory setting preferred
