Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant who will assist the Finance Manager in accounting close and preparation of Financial Statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end journal entries and reconciliations, and prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Lead annual UK financial audit, ensure compliance of tax returns, and assist with bank and investor reporting
• Implement and document accounting processes and policies to maintain internal controls and drive efficiencies

Required Qualifications

• Accounting Major with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong technical skills and ability to analyze financial data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Intacct/Avalara is an asset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• High level of detail, accuracy, and organization skills
