Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity and accuracy of general ledger accounting records and documentation
• Participate in monthly financial closing procedures and prepare financial statements
• Assist with audit schedules and compliance, including SOX controls and tax documentation

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in public accounting or a publicly traded company; biotech/pharma experience preferred
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field; CPA certification preferred
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX experience/exposure preferred
• Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of basic accounting principles
