Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant/Team Lead to manage client accounting relationships and lead a team of accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accounting contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP
• Manage the revenue cycle, expense management, and payroll processing while executing the monthly close process
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, participating in hiring and onboarding processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Master's in Accounting and/or CPA license preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager, with 2+ years of audit experience in a CPA firm
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online; familiarity with Xero, Intacct, and NetSuite is a plus
• Experience in revamping accounting processes and technology, particularly related to revenue recognition
• Deep knowledge of payroll and sales tax liability management
