Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Accountant/Team Lead to manage client accounting relationships and lead a team of accounting professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary accounting contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP
- Manage the revenue cycle, expense management, and payroll processing while executing the monthly close process
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, participating in hiring and onboarding processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Master's in Accounting and/or CPA license preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager, with 2+ years of audit experience in a CPA firm
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online; familiarity with Xero, Intacct, and NetSuite is a plus
- Experience in revamping accounting processes and technology, particularly related to revenue recognition
- Deep knowledge of payroll and sales tax liability management
