Senior Accounting Operations Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Manager, Accounting Operations to oversee general accounting functions and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the accuracy and compliance of financial statements and manage the monthly financial close process
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting, and oversee budget management and internal controls implementation
• Lead and develop the accounting team while optimizing processes and ensuring stakeholder engagement

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in the cannabis or related industry
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, or Acumatica
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across departments
• Desire to learn SQL/BI for enhanced data analysis capabilities
