Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer II- Backend (Fully Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable and performant solutions
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing thorough pull request reviews and receiving feedback on personal work

Required Qualifications

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 6+ years of experience building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team
• 3+ years of experience with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table data sets
• 3+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting
• 3+ years of experience coaching other engineers
