Senior Budget Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Budget Analyst to support NOAA in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide budget and financial management support for NOAA/NOS, including data analysis and forecasting
• Create and maintain spreadsheets, tools, and reports for budget execution and financial management
• Analyze NOAA budget execution data and assist with variance analysis and financial corrections

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in federal accounting, budgeting, or related fields
• Proficiency in transforming data into user-friendly Google Sheet workbooks using advanced functions
• Ability to lead a team of Budget Analysts and drive efficiencies
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
• Experience with NOAA accounting systems and government financial terminology is preferred
