Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior POS Charge Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit daily error reports and make necessary corrections in coding and billing systems
• Review patient records and assign appropriate billing codes for procedures and services
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical documentation and provide guidance to staff

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• Four or more years of related work experience in a clinical or medical office setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and regulatory agency requirements for coding
• Proficiency in common office software and coding/billing software
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
