Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage observability solutions across cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement health checks and probes for cloud infrastructure and applications across AWS
• Document monitoring strategies and maintain a central inventory of licensed software deployed in AWS environments
• Analyze and optimize the performance of AWS resources and conduct capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in IT, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with emphasis on AWS
• Strong experience with CloudWatch and proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Node.js
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect Associate)
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
