Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Administrator - Hybrid/Remote, within the service area.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, support, tune, and administer database environments
• Lead the implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of database instances, replication, and backups
• Mentor other Database Administrators and collaborate with various teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or an IT-related field with six years of relevant experience, or an associate degree in an IT-related field with ten years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience supporting databases, writing and troubleshooting queries, and applying ETL principles
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Preferred experience with disaster recovery methods and server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• No specific certifications or licenses required for this position
