Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Disability Claims Examiner to provide concierge-level customer service for disability claims management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a block of approximately 75 Long-Term and Short-Term Disability claims, ensuring exceptional customer service
- Engage with clients and internal resources to enhance the claimant experience and address complex claims
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement within the Concierge Team
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Long-Term Disability claims management
- Understanding of Short-Term Disability claims and Life Waiver of Premium is preferred
- Ability to interact confidently with attorneys and medical professionals
- Strong documentation skills and ability to interpret complex policy provisions
- Advanced math skills for financial calculations related to disability claims
