Senior High Performance Computing Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior High Performance Computing Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage compute and storage infrastructure for scientific workloads
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to deploy scalable machine learning models
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of HPC systems in both on-premise and cloud environments

Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, or Associate's degree with 8 years of experience, or High school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field with HPC administration experience
• Demonstrable experience in cloud computing (preferably AWS) and cloud architecture
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and cloud-based HPC solutions
• Expertise in scripting (Python or Bash) and Linux/Unix system administration
• Proficiency with job scheduling and resource management tools (e.g., SLURM, PBS)
