Senior Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Information Security Engineer to join their Information Security team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain critical security tools and infrastructure
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents across cloud and on-prem environments
• Manage vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation efforts with IT teams to reduce risk exposure

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in information security or IT with hands-on expertise in relevant tools
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field; relevant certifications preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, scripting, and automation skills across hybrid environments
• Working knowledge of frameworks like NIST, CIS, or ISO and experience supporting compliance efforts
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks independently and communicate clearly with stakeholders
