Senior Linux Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Linux System Engineer (Webhosting/Cloud).

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the final escalation point for complex server, hosting, and network-related issues while diagnosing and resolving critical system failures
• Manage, optimize, and secure Linux-based hosting environments and administer web servers, databases, and caching layers
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and utilize tools for automating infrastructure deployments

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience in a web hosting or cloud environment
• 7 years of experience in senior roles and handling a team
• Expert knowledge of web hosting technologies and strong scripting ability in Perl, Bash, and Python
• Experience with configuration management tools and networking expertise
• Certifications such as RHCE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Kubernetes (CKA) are a plus
