Senior Mainframe Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Software/System Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Fulfill SNOW ticket requests for mainframe customers related to storage administration
• Manage storage pools and perform problem diagnostics and resolution
• Provide 24/7 support and maintain documentation of issues and resolutions

Required Qualifications

• Experience with z System architectures (z/OS/z/VM)
• Knowledge of z/OS, z/VM, SMP/E, JES/EJES, TSO/ISPF, and DFSMS Management
• Familiarity with IBM TS7700 series and EMC, VMAX hardware
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent plus 10 years of experience
• Ability to pass a Tier 4/HIGH Background Investigation
