Senior Patent Counsel (USPTO Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Patent Counsel to manage its patent program and collaborate with various teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify patentable innovations
• Run weekly patent committee meetings and guide filing decisions
• Manage external patent counsel to ensure timely and cost-effective filings

Required Qualifications

• J.D. and admission to practice before the USPTO
• 5+ years of law firm patent prosecution experience
• 2+ years of in-house experience at a tech company
• Strong technical background, preferably with a CS degree
• Experience in supporting IP litigation is a plus
