Senior Project Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Project Accountant who will provide accounting support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project contract documents for revenue recognition treatment and maintain project setup in JDE E1
• Monitor project costs against budget/forecast, analyze financial data, and prepare monthly cost accruals
• Conduct monthly project status/financial review meetings and support internal/external audit requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Accounting
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
• Experience with major ERP systems such as BAAN, EpiCor, AX, SAGE, or JDE E1
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
• Industry experience in Manufacturing and Engineering is preferred
