Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to lead advanced engineering initiatives in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering, integration, and optimization of the Splunk-based SIEM platform
• Develop and manage Python-based automation scripts and integrations to enhance operational efficiency
• Provide technical leadership and strategic input on cybersecurity projects and architecture decisions

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
• Minimum of 12 years of IT experience, with at least 8 years in cybersecurity engineering
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or 2 additional years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years of Python scripting experience for security tool integrations and automation
• Expert-level proficiency with advanced security technologies, including Splunk SIEM and EDR tools
